AWS Certifications would be authenticating AWS Cloud skills, knowledge, and expertise. Candidates would be taking an exam to earn one of AWS’s Foundational, role-based, or Specialty certifications. To maintain their high bar for earning an AWS Certification, AWS exams are taken in a timed, proctored environment. We would be offering flexible, convenient options for taking exams to select what would be working best for you.

AWS provides exams through two test delivery providers, which are PSI and Pearson VUE. Both providers would be delivering the AWS Certification exams across the globe. AWS encourages you to explore options provided by both for identifying the most convenient option for you based on where you would like to go for your exams and any specific accommodations you might require.

You can also go for AWS practice exams before going for the real one. Also, you could gain the AWS Certifications Questions provided by SPOTO for better preparation.

Online Proctoring

Online proctoring is considered a testing environment that allows you to take an exam from any private space, like your home or office. You could utilize your computer for the exam and converse with a proctor who remotely would be monitoring your exam via both a screen-sharing application and your webcam. Exam appointments are accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It is recommended that you schedule your exam in advance so that you’re more likely to find a time that is quite convenient for you.

Online proctoring would be available for all AWS Certification exams from either test delivery providers or viz. Pearson VUE or PSI. For candidates in mainland China and South Korea, online proctoring is offered only by the PSI. Note that communication with a proctor would be required for completing an online-proctored appointment. Both PSI and Pearson VUE support online proctoring in English. Pearson VUE would also help the online proctoring in Japanese.

Testing Centers

Testing centers would be operating independently from AWS that would be offering in-person proctoring and the technical equipment required for an exam, like a computer that would meet system and security requirements. You would be utilizing the testing center computer for taking your exam, and on-site staff would provide you the assistance with checking in and storing your belongings. Appointment availabilities are going to vary by the testing center.

To find a testing center near you, you have to search the availability by ZIP Code for Pearson VUE and PSI.

Note: Some testing centers would be closed currently as per the local health guidance. You are required to refer to the information provided by the Pearson VUE and PSI for learning more and confirm the latest health and safety measures.

Scheduling Your Exam

From your AWS Certification Account, you would be able to schedule your exam with either the testing vendors, PSI, or Pearson VUE. After scheduling your exam appointment, you should carefully review your exam confirmation email from you’re the testing vendor of your choice. This email would consist of pertinent details on the relevant policies and the terms for your exam appointment.

AWS Certification would help you build confidence and credibility by authenticating your cloud skills with an industry-recognized credential. Whether you would be considering taking your first AWS Certification exam or wish to recertify your existing credential, it is imperative to be prepared.
